KINCARDINE RESIDENT WINS $2 MILLION ONTARIO 49 JACKPOT

TORONTO, ON Richard Butler of Kincardine is $2 million richer after winning the March 17, 2021 ONTARIO 49 jackpot. Richard matched all six numbers to win.

Richard says he has been playing the lottery for a long time. "This is my first time at the Prize Centre," he smiled.

Richard, a 77-year-old father of three and grandfather of six, checked his ticket using the OLG Lottery App. "I couldn't believe I won. I had to check it a dozen times before it sunk in," he said. "My wife and I called the kids to tell them we won. They were really excited!"

Richard plans to treat himself with something and save the rest for his children and grand children's future.

The winning ticket was purchased at Rexall on Sutton Street in Kincardine.
