$1 TURNS INTO $100,000:
RETIRED OSHAWA WOMAN CELEBRATES $100,000 ENCORE WIN

TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Annie of Oshawa. Annie matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the December 3, 2019 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000!

"I've been playing the lottery for about 40 years," shared Annie, while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up her cheque.

The retiree discovered her win while checking her numbers on OLG.ca. "At first, I thought I saw too many zeroes," she laughed. "It was hard to believe!"

"It feels good to not have to worry about paying bills. My husband just passed away, so I was worried about that," the 79-year old shared.

Annie plans to share with her children and grandchildren, renovate her home and pay some bills.

The winning ticket was purchased at Gateway Newstand on King Street in Oshawa.
